Has everyone had a bad experience in placements?

Hey guys, maybe I'm just venting here or something, maybe not, who know. I just played my 10 placment games, and in my opinion, I did super good in them. I got 8 wins 2 losses, and i thought that would at least help me out a little in the coming season. Rip, guess not, because I got placed in Bronze 4, which does not even make sense to me. Last season, i had 9 losses 1 win, and got Bronze 2, and I ended S6 at Silver 5, so atleast i should get something around there, right?

(On a maybe realted note, as per op.gg my mmr puts me at high silver low gold)

Just probably venting, but have any of you guys had a similar experience?

Basically no matter what you do your placements will place you a tier lower than you were ranked last season. Even 10-0

I don't know what even is the point of the placement matches is if that's the way they're going to be treated. Its a farce.

WTF is the POINT of f'ing placements/reset between seasons? Seriously, is it JUST so that upper elo can "have fun" pub-stomping low elo to prove their superiority and e-peen at start of season? Seriously, what is the POINT of "show us where you belong, as long as it's not higher than where you were last season"?

Dude....RIOT needs to fix the placements..I just went 9 wins and 1 lost flawless support and my last promo game I ended it with a 1/3/25 Thresh. And I'm placed in Bronze 5...like what?

i hate to be one of those people but last year i was silver 5 and went 6-4 in my placements. Got bronze 2. this year i was coming off silver 4 and went 7-3. got bronze 3. wtf? :(

whatever i have a whole year to get out
