That particular support pick was attempting to win through the best means he knew how. It wasn't intentional feeding, he was simply using his skillset differently than the players around him wanted him to, or understood.
Riot has long stood for the argument that you should be ale to play whoever you want, wherever you want. If you play that champ to the best of your abilities, it shouldn't be a bannable offense. Suddenly they've flipped on it, because their new reports system is broken and relies on weight of reports and number of reports instead of having a real human element look at the reports.
It's Garbage and Riot needs to look into their practices.

Playing to lose / suboptimal pick is trolling. In this case, 'support' singed with smite is HARD trolling.
You can troll all you want in normals, but keep that out of ranked or you will get justifiably reported.

Dude won 53% of his games up to plat 3. That's not trolling, it's not a trollpick, he's just doing it differently than you want him to. And that argument is myopic. This line of thought allows players who don't pick a counter pick if their opponents have first picked in lane, or if they pick a countered champ into a known counter matchup to be reported and banned because it's not acceptable meta. This is a road Riot doesn't, and shouldn't want to go down.

I've watched LoLHounds videos, and I know the guy does try to win in those games. But Riot only needs a few bad games in which he is doing nothing to justify his ban.
LordGeovanni3 votessinged has 3 cc how is it sub optimal. people like taric have 1 cc on a long cooldown to a medium cooldown if you dont get poked out from useing your passive. the only parts of tarics kit that do anything worthwhile is his e and ultimate the other 2 spells are only to get his passive to work to use e more often and have little actuall power. not to mention singed's ult can be used so that he can proform as an effective tank even while building support which is bad for most support tanks. I myself have tried to play the pick though it was a few years ago and other off meta support picks but people dont realize the potiential power and give up with out trying to see how the pick works. ive been playing support nautilus from season 4 before it went lcs and i was chastised for troll pick myself. same with support nasus not like a slow that also slows enemy attack speed isnt good versus adcs and an aoe magic damage spells that also shreds enemy armor isnt good in lane with an adc sure its slower less powerful stacking but every champion is less powerful in the support role compared to a solo role. even leona who has no passive when in a solo lane except when enemies gank if she can build more carry like she has more than enough base damage to do well. Support nasus isnt troll to my teammates because i didnt do damage they expected the same damage from me as a support as a top lane nasus but if i had taken all the farm for stacks id also be trolling

1- He does not have "3 cc" 2- Even if he did , that does not make it non-troll. 3- He went smite singed support. That is troll. 4- He was justifiably banned.
If you want to troll pick, play unranked.
LordGeovanni2 votessinged has a knock back (flip) a slow and a root from combineing the 2 cc and there is still slow time after the root. smite support is considered not the most efficent but that doesnt mean its troll you can smite cannon minion with relic sheild to safely get share the gold and gurarntee it for both you and your adc go chilling smite another cc and cinderhulk more tankyness for him meaning he can hold enemies attention for longer away from allies. you cant justify troll pick in ranked or unranked but you cant prove his pick was troll pick just that it wasnt a normal pick troll is when you have no intention of helping your team in any way thats attitude not which champion you pick

By your logic, Maokai's Q counts as two disables, per person it strikes. SO MAOKAI HAS 10 DISABLES IN 1 SPELL, WTF?!?!?!

LordGeovanni3 votesNo maokai has 2 disables in 1 spells that could be applied on 5 champions in extremely specific conditions. singed has 3 disables a flip a slow and a root the root from a specific conditions. but 3 none the less your logic is horrible on the off chance you can hit 5 champions in close range with one q the q still only does 2 things thats like saying a 5 man ult with malphite is malphite having 5 knock ups in his kit. its 1 knock up on 5 people.

PhDs Nuts2 votesHe's queueing as support, picking Singed with smite/ghost, and then farming the enemy jungle while his ADC is forced to 1v2. He refuses to group with his ADC for the first 4-5 minutes of lane regardless of the team/ADC's opinion or champ pick.
If he actually played Singed support there wouldn't be a problem. I've had Elise support a few times and Katarina support once, and won all those games because we actually worked together. I even had a support leave me 1v2 all game so he could play roaming Blitz, but he asked me if I was cool with it beforehand so I just picked Sivir and outfarmed the enemy ADC anyway. He didn't autolock it and force me to deal with it regardless of my opinion or champion pick, and actually did something more useful than run around the enemy jungle.
