Hey, Few days ago my team tried to surrender at 25-17 and we where winning. Why is this possible? Nowdays most of games end with one team surrendering because they dont want to play even when teams are equal. Imagine if in hockey score was 1-4 and team just left a field??? that just plain stu***ity and definitely unsportsmanlike conduct. So can I report all team if they give up? Why dont Riot make it variable activated? for example if teams are 4-5 or there is ~20 or more kill difference? Mybe some punishment for surrender with full team or "chicken-hearted" icon next to avatar? Because this option teaches to be fainthearted and run from every obstacle imaginable. At this point it is hard to enjoy game because average player is notably miserable crybaby who leave or feeds at first opportunity :( This is not first team based game and not the first game where you have to fight as one to win, but in this, amounts of surrenders are just insane. Do you guys skip everything you dont like in your everyday life? I dont think so. Does Riot gives up on all project except easiest ones? HHmmm hard to say, mybe not on ALL of them. Please fix it Riot. Reason of having possibly worst community is Riot allowing it.

Cheers

I agree. It should, at the very least, only be an option if you are currently losing. I personally feel that you are right about it needing to be a larger score difference as well, but I can see some situations where one or two kills difference wouldn't accurately show who is winning/losing, or by how much. It is actually very possible to be down by a significant number of kills and to be winning. Maybe a qualifying condition should be that you must at least have an inhibitor down.

I kinda like your point about applying a little shame for surrendering, but given Riot's aversion to toxicity (rightfully so), it would be pretty hypocritical of them to call someone a chicken.

I do however think it would be good to give a heavy IP/Exp./Mastery score penalty. That way if they lose the game honorably, without surrendering it is less of a waste of time than it would be for otherwise.

I often vote "no" simply because I care about the community too much.

You mean to tell me you came into this ranked game, with a champ you didn't know, fed, and now you want to quit so you can do it again? No. I'm going to keep voting "no" so 4 to 8 other people don't suffer like me. And yes, i'm going to keep lecturing you.

the same here :) I dont remember when I pressed yes last time :) One way I play now if I can is with friend and then we both press NO and my team rages, but that works only when my team loses

The funny thing to me is that by the time it is no longer possible to win, you might as well just let them finish.

Finish with honor and fight until the end.

You learn more from fighting a stronger opponent.
