Anivia R needs to proc E damage

There is no room for cool flash E plays or anything as it is now. It is way too easy to play around and I think that her current state doesn't allow for differences in skill to be shown on the character.

I think it would be better to nerf the extra damage (maybe 70 % or 80 %) and then give her E the ability to still do more damage even though her R is not fully expanded.

Thoughts?

Anivia used to be my favourite champion but Riot's manic on every champ to be unique (Anivia is the one with the big AoE ability on her Ultimate) have left her weaknesses even more obvious - she is immobile and you have to stand for at least 1.5 seconds in her ultimate for the character to work. She has become less fun to play imo.

Sometimes when things are happening REALLY FAST and zed or cassiopeia flashes in to finish you off you no longer have to ability to response.. you are a sitting duck... cryophoenix

While I'm a low elo player and haven't played Anivia in some time, I'd honestly never had any issues with her character in the past. Quite the opposite, since the mage rework, I'd actually done rather well with the champion, even carrying with her a couple of times. Though having not played her recently, on top of my time away from the game due to Stormblood, I can't really speak with a full sense of certainty in terms of how she would be now.

But I feel like it goes without saying that closers and cc'ers would be the counter of a slow champion like herself, and rightfully slow. Hell, I'd even used that counter as a way to bait players into jumping me whenever my egg was up, to assist with a gank.

To each their own opinion though.

I main Anivia (not sure if I will anymore though because they just removed her wall's vision which may very well make her no longer viable) but the slow-expanding ult to proc E is fair. What you need to do is place the ult very slightly behind them and strafe around for a second and then E. Provided that you're able to do that without getting hit by the opponent's CC, you'll be able to throw the E at them technically before the ult would proc it, but during flight the ult would reach the full expansion and then proc the E when it hits them. It really is a short amount of time once you get used to it and you can always proc the E on someone in this way unless it's like an Ahri and she ults out of the circle.

Old Anivia was extremely oppressive with her tap R into E combo. That does not need to ever return.
