Irons and Bronzes on Silver Queue

I want to understand something. Now I'm S4 and I was S2 like 1 or 2 weeks ago. Since then (S2 to S4) I'm almost always catching up Iron and Bronze players on my team. How is this fair? How can this happen? I'm playing Solo. I'm constantly losing games cause of this. Often I even catch Golds on the other team, when mine is a S4 (me), maybe other S4 and 2 bronzes (1 or 2) and 1 Iron 1. WTF??

(and all of this to not talk about the constant trolling and intentional feeding always on my team...)

Rank means nothing, especially that low. Their MMR could be as high as gold. you dont lose games because of it, because it is not relevant.

Okay. If my mmr is high enough that I’m being matched with gold players, and their mmr is low enough to be matched with bronze 1 players. Then either A. I should just be fucking gold Or B. They should be bronze 1

Their match making is just fucked and I don’t know why you all continue trying to make excuses about it. -.-

No. I’m well aware of how mmr works. The issue is riot has shoved a rank based system together with a mmr system and just let the shit run wild.

If your mmr is lower than or equal to a bronze player. You should be bronze. This isn’t rocket science.

Then he should be playing with bronze players because he is currently a bronze player.

How would you feel about getting diamond MMR players in your games because they are.. i was going to say gold, but you seem to be iron or unranked.. You must enjoy being stomped.

Sounds like you just want to swap rank and MMR and make the underlying issue even worse by having matchmaking use your meaningless trophy rank instead of actual skill level.

Silvers always have the chance of playing with either bronze or gold because they are right in the middle of those two.

Playing with iron though is because of how they set it up when they introduced iron into the system this year. New accounts got placed in iron but had high silver to low gold mmr, so they appear in silver to gold games.

You're also forgetting the fact that even assuming your statement is true, what's to prevent the same thing happening to many silver IV/V players you go against? In that case, ranked is just fair in an incredibly not-fun way.
