Having a discussion with a friend. He is saying that playing Ranked now will affect your mmr already even tho the preseason patch isnt out yet. I told him the ranked season is over and playing ranked now will be completely useless because the mmr wont be counted anymore. Who is right?
every ranked game does count. so yes playing atm is counted as preseason offically even though the new changes havent came out. Riot has even already stated preseason STARTED on the 13th of Nov. Every single match u play effects MMR for next season when you queue ranked
The soft reset happens the day before the season starts.
Your initial placement will be based on your MMR at the time of the reset.
Climbing and tanking in pre-season will have a direct impact on your initial placement next season.
