I Need Help. I Want To Create A New Kind Of Rune, Mastery And/Or Item Build But How Can I Be Sure It Is Viable Enough To Take It To Ranked And Normals?
It can be good to look at build guides to get a general idea of what you can take. From there it is adjusting it based on what you find you want/need to fit your play style.
Such as adc runes, many include flat mr glyphs, but maybe you want scaling mr. Some people even opt to go for 3 mana regen glyphs on champions like cait.
For junglers, you can set up a rune/mastery page and just try it out in a custom game by your self to see if you can survive.
Do you understand what the various stats do and how they interact with the champs you use them on? If so, then anything you theorycraft is probably viable enough to take to normals.
Does it work well in normals, more so than 'standard' builds? If so then it's potentially viable enough to take to ranked.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this new build? Also I wouldn't worry too much about something being viable enough for normals, people try out new stuff all the time in normals.
