they wanted him to feel more satisfying to play beyond hitting an e. Unfortunately they thought adding more cc and whole team displacement would increase that satisfaction. When it inevitably proved how strong having 3/4 of your abilities be hard cc in pro play, they nerfed him hard.

I still remember Riot's kicking us in the nuts at patch 5.4 :( It's so bad that i can still feel it to this day.

Because jumping at mid out of fog of war from range higher than caits ult lvl 1, pressing your Q in general direction of enemy and spamming W, kinda isnt fun to play againist. Especially when everyone is complaining about non mobile champions being so god damn fucked in this meta.

I mean he kinda does more damage but less. Has kinda no scaling. I hate his new ult. His old one was way more useful

Zac needs a revert

I haven't even finished my promos for solo queue, mainly because of the destruction of Zac. From an AP bruiser, who had his highest win % top lane, to some jungle support cc machine that is a borderline troll pick in the mess of solo queue. His rework not only turned him into another balance nightmare, but it completely changed his identity of being one of the few AP bruisers. Riot fucked up so damn hard with his rework, and it was never needed in the first place. I would trade every skin that I own to have him reverted, so that I could play the old Zac top lane again.

i guess i can relate after what they did to but the rework seems better then old zac, i mean yeah Q top lane might not be better, but it is if you are being ganked, and because your top lane you ARE being ganked.

Because his entire kit revolved around being close to your enemy instead of actually trying to be strategic and position? I can’t speak for game health, but I felt like old Zac was just poorly designed. There was next to no skill involved beyond his E. I’m not saying that they did everything right by piling on CC and then nerfing him into obscurity, but they did good in giving him more skill expression. You’re right that there are huge problems now, but don’t act like there weren’t before.
