auto attacks will always go through( I think only if you flash into a bush or out of view does it cancel idk about that though) if his ability is an autoattack modifier and he uses it before you flash it will hit you regardless, its like you can not flash a ranged auto attack, same thing is said for a melee autoattack.
You can't flash auto attacks. Once the auto attack animation starts there is nothing you can do to avoid it unless you have an ability that lets you do so (Jax E, Fizz E, Vlad W, etc.). This same thing applies to a few abilities as well. For example, if old Akali started her E animation while you were in range, then flashing away wouldn't stop the damage.
