Akali's new W vs her old W

I tried Akali a few times after they changed the bonus from her W to movement speed from bonus MR and armor. Not like +20 MR and Armor at lvl 16 is going to help you (I max W last), but also the movement speed is not enough to do anything with. Even max level, a 100% ms buff decaying over a second, doesn't help me get to the other side of the shroud. Only one time, I put my shroud over the trees at the blue buff, suspecting an enemy Lee Sin. I caught him, dashed onto him. Then he W'd away. The movement speed from the shroud, just a I got into stealth again, gave me enough speed to regain vision after the corner. So, it's not useles. So,** concerning her W**, what do you think?
