nonranked vs ranked not fair

its not fair at all for those of us who arn't ranked getting put up against a full group of ranked people. if your ranked you need to be put up against people who are ranked not people who arn't ranked. its not fair one bit. people say that rank don't matter but i beg to differ. if your ranked then that means your a really good player. also if your in a group of more then 3 or more (premade) then you need to be put up against another premade. that balances the game out more and and decreases the unfairness of the match ups. also make it to where the server checks to see if your a bot or not. and if you are then you need to be banned. im tired of encountering bots. also i can't stress this enough make it to where you can only buy one dorans blade early game its not fair that all you have to do is buy 5 dorans blades and 5 potions. by unfair i mean, if you buy 5 dorans blades your literally unkillable by 2 people focusing you. #unfair

and i have seen ranked players with less knowledge of the game then my cat... and since i am b5 i am obviously not good but i have uber carried games b4...its relative -.-

wut...? I couldn't understand the last half... You're matched up according to the average mmr of your team

If your team is all unranked 30 and the opposing team has 2 silver 5 players then the remainder of that team would have players under level 30 players...thus balanced unless you encounter smurfs

i call bullshit on that. every game i've gotten into today have been against full ranked teams. not once have i gotten into group with only 2 or less ranked players. so what your saying is obv false. and plus even that isn't fair. if your ranked you need to be playing against ranked players. RIOT FIX YOUR GAME!

Premades are matched up against premades.

Yep. It takes the average MMR (and calculates in level), which is calculated separately in normal than it is in ranked (and team builder for that matter). They match you up against another premade with the same amount of people in it of an equivalent MMR. Notably, normal MMR degrades just like ranked MMR does, so if someone hasn't played normals in a while, their MMR for normals goes down.

In team builder, trying a new position/role/champion lowers your MMR as well.

That is nice to know and I can see where this has happened previously. I mainly ask because my wife, myself and 2 buds got on and played last night so obviously us 4 were premade with 1 rando. The other team just got torched, like badly wrecked and they were mad and complaining because we were premade. So, not sure if they just got unlucky and weren't premade like us or what.

Well they system tries to pair you with other premades in normals. SO if you have a duo more than likely you will have a duo on the other team. Its not perfect, but it attempts it. Sometimes it works other times it doesn't.

Ranked just means that you're competitive and want to see where you stack up against others. That doesn't mean that you're better. I was unranked until the preseason started and when I played mid on teambuilder, I routinely got matched with golds, periodically a platinum. Eventually, I played my provisional matches and got ranked. There was no change in my skill level between when I was unranked and now.

Also, if playing ARAM... "there's two kinds of people that I fear on ARAM: Diamond+ and unranked."

Like I said earlier you are matched up based on average team mmr It means your mmr is higher than most others be happy about that, it means you're pretty above average then if you are getting in with team comps with silvers and you are unranked

And I looked up your matchups on op.gg and you were on the same team with multiple ranked players multiple times So if anyone is bsing it's you
