1/21 PBE Update

Fizz [SEVERAL THINGS HERE, WILL NEED TO CONFIRM ON LIVE] Urchin Strike (Q) magic damage decreased to 10/25/40/55/70 (+.3 AP) from 10/40/70/100/130 (+.6 AP) Seastone Trident (W) passive AP Ratio increased to .45 from .25 Seastone Trident (W) [need to look into passive's base damage] Seastone Trident (W) [actives base damage up? Need to confirm] Seastone Trident (W) [NO LONGER APPLIES GRIEVOUS WOUNDS] Chum the Waters (R) [Looks like it now amps Fizz's damage by 20% for 6 seconds on target]

Edit: Hmm reignofgaming's pbe notes looks different and it looks like a nerf.

Passive: Fizz's attacks rend his enemies, dealing 20 (+0.45*AP) damage over 3 seconds.

Active: For seconds, Fizz's attacks deal an additional 10/20/30/40/50 plus 4/5/6/7/8 % of the target's missing Health as Magic Damage on hit.

Everything else is pretty much the same.

But does fizz really need compensation for the removal of dfg? Ahri lost her damage amp on her e which doesn't make sense now since they stuck a damage amp onto fizz. Actually now that I think about it, he only needs to auto once since his q applies on hit effects. Any additional autos would just be overkill.

Edit: I feel like this is a buff to the fizz players that can land their ult and a slight buff to fizz in general. I could be completely wrong, I would have to see how this plays out in game. The removal of grievous wounds looks nice.

Edt 2: Just noticed they removed the active ratio and put it onto his passive. Interesting

Remember the lack of DFG puts the Chum the Waters change into context.

Less damage on dash and more damage on the auto attack modifier. Realistically speaking, it looks like it would just barely slow Fizz's combo down, on top of opening up emergency heals summoner 7 thanks to the lack of Grievous Wounds.

So they took away Ahri's damage amp but gave Fizz one instead?

Seastone Trident (W) [NO LONGER APPLIES GRIEVOUS WOUNDS]

Good, a change that actually makes sense.

But the other changes? Wtf? Making Q the dumbest spell to rank up, getting only 15 damage per rank? You could have nerfed only the ratio NOT the base and leave W alone. And leave ult alone too.

Edit: nvm, the Fizz changes look even worse than what the OP described. Heavy damage nerfs for QW and E still untouched for some reason.

Let the ult amp dmg for anyone hit by the ult.

Seems like a healthy change, honestly. It makes the Fizz have to choose between more damage by leveling up his W second (after his E) or if he wants more mobility by leveling up his Q second (for the reduced CDR).

The change to his shark seems like a decent change also, because it rewards Fizz by allowing him to do more burst to people he successfully hits his ult on, while also allowing teammates to predict who Fizz will go after with his burst during teamfights (making him able to be a bit more predictable).
