Rethink Jungle Changes
First off, the jungle changes to summoner's rift this patch:
We're seeing a lot of junglers having difficulty keeping up in gold generation, but if we just throw more gold onto the camps we'd probably see laners stealing monsters instead. This is a light first pass at correcting gold flow for junglers versus laners, but we now have the ability to go harder (or softer) if this is still a problem in the future. Design levers! GO BACK TO YOUR LANE All jungle camps now give 10 less gold THIS IS MY JUNGLE Hunter's Machete now grants +10 gold per large jungle monster UPGRADE EARLY FRIENDS All tier 2 and 3 jungle items now grant +20 gold per large jungle monster
I play fiddlesticks jungle main. I'm disappointed with his nerf, but that's been long coming. What's bad is with that plus the jungle change, the way i play him puts me at such a disadvantage that I don't even want to log on to play my favorite champion anymore. I don't use machete. I build directly towards hourglass, i get just enough for the items i need at the right time, and it works just fine. There are many other champions who don't need machete to function in jungle. With this change, it amounts to around a 150 gold deficit by level 6. What you're doing here is basically slapping a huge "fuck you" on the forehead of everyone who doesn't build a machete, and that's just poor thinking. The fact that you even factor in the possibility of laners stealing jungle is absurd. That isn't a design issue. It's a problem of said laners not being team players, which is beyond your control.
Please rethink this decision.
