What's the point of this game anymore?

So I go into ranked games wanting to WIN the game. I play ranked so I can be COMPETITIVE and try to WIN games. So when I see someone going 1/12, giving up and not trying I get mad. I vocalize that I am mad because this person just ruined and wasted 30+ minutes minimum of my life that I can not get back just to troll me. And now since Riot is going the way of the PC Police I get banned. Does the person going 1/12 constantly not helping his team get in trouble? No absolutely not, they're just playing the game they want to play it! They didn't use the chat feature to vocalize anger in a competitive game so it's A-okay that they just held you hostage, very likely denying forfeit ques, for 30+ minutes.

And when they deny your forefeit vote what are your options? You have to waste 15 minutes of your time trying to win or you'll get banned for not trying. Will the troll get banned? No, no he won't because he's "just not that good."

Then on top of that you add these STUPID new runes and make the game just incredibly stupid and toxic and absolutely pointless. As someone who has played since beta and owns ever champion and 100s of skins good riddance to this game. Can't wait till this pointless garbage dies off and this company goes belly up like it deserves.

The point of ranked is WINNING THE GAME. For some people winning is fun, being competitive is fun. When someone doesn't try and is clearly trolling you if you are a competitive person the rage that builds inside is pretty intense because 30 minutes of your time was just held hostage and you have less than no power over the situation. Speak up and get mad get banned. Troll back and get banned. Try to do the only thing that rectifies the situation and forefeit and the troll says no.

Yeah man, fuck being competitive. Who cares about those people that want a game mode for competitive matches where people are trying to win, fuck those people. The people going 2/11 on ezreal with 50 cs in a 30 minute game and denying forefeit votes should get rewarded for people getting mad at them for clearly trolling by getting others banned.

People like you are the problem with this game.

How after playing from beta are you not used to preseason chaos? Wait for ranked season to start, wait an extra month or so on top of that for placements to wrap up, grind the ladder.

Being competitive is not winning every game and being a prick to teammates who prevent that, its minimizing your losses for maximum ladder climbing and holding your self to a standard to preform better and grow. Being salty and a sore loser is just bad sportsmanship.

I love how Riot brainwashed you into thinking preseason is supposed to be even a thing or how it's supposed to be absolute chaos. It's most likely gonna be these way during the regular season also. Soon Riot's gonna nerf everything and "play your own playstyle!" will soon run into the same problems runes and masteries always had, a meta will be established and everyone will run the same thing the PROZ do because this community is full of brainlets who cant think for themselves.

I like the preseason chaos, I like riot throwing the meta to the wolfs to start the year off and seeing where things develop. Otherwise i fear it ends up feeling like just more of the same balance patches around the established meta. I don't like that, you might, to each their own. How is it brainwashing its literally a thing every year, its chaotic and most the time its the community's fault for being slow to adapt till they have clear cut molds to follow.

Riot trys to mix things up you have issue with this. Meta gets stale and you have issue with this. Riot makes changes and your mad and yet the community is terrible at making changes for themselves which also makes you mad?

What the hell do you want to see, I'm a bit confused where your coming from.

Honestly.. I felt the same way.. I quit for lil over 2 months and sadly Im not as passionate as before. I know my expectations will never be met. I know ny fav champion will never be the same. And I know ill never be good enuf to make money off the game, via YouTube twitch etc... So I quit at 67lp in plat 2 decayed to gold 1 and im okay with that..

At the age of 25, being a competitive person myself, its just not worth the stress. Play the game for fun, try to win.. But if u lose, brush it off. Its just a game, just killing ur time, have fun. I look to comback to kill shit again.. I had teammates throw my 8-0-2 start and we lost. But what ever, I had fun up till that point and that's what is important.

Face it man... No game is worth as much stress and frustration that u have. And sadly, as much as I wanted diamond, I didnt even feel that good about making plat 2.. So again, have fun, and fuck the idea of being really good.

Its preseason. Its like this every year. Noone takes ranked seriously because it really doesnt matter. Just enjoy learning all the new stuff for the time being or hold off until the season starts. For a vet like you to complain about something like this is odd. Every competitive scene needs a break or people get burnt out. Professional or not.
