A question to all the Veterans out there.

I have been playing league for around a year now and I keep asking myself one simple question. "Who do I wanna main?" I Don't play league very much on account of I don't have solid enough internet at my house to play, but I do love to play when I have the chance. But whenever I do play I always have a mental struggle of picking who I want to play, and more often than not stoop to asking my team mates who they want and offering what I have. Now I used to be a support main and am currently mastery 4 with Morgana and master 2-3 with like 5 other champs that are all really fun too.But due to the lack of love the support position is receiving of late I opted to abandon the lane and hope to find a better time in the another lane. But enough about me. To the point of this post. I'm wondering if anyone can give advice on how you found your main, and if anyone would be willing to answer some questions that I have about the other roles. Thanks in advance

"Mains" are for people who enjoy a certain champion so much they want to play them every game they can get them. That apparently does not describe you, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I used to be someone like you who just played pretty much anything, but two seasons ago I picked up ADC and i've been in love with the role since then, and have played it all the way from Bronze 5 to Diamond (just got it this weekend :D)!

There's nothing wrong with just playing what your team leaves (it's called "filling"), if you enjoy all different types of champs. Finding a "main role" is a lot about what kind of mechanics you enjoy. Do you like being a beefy tank? Then you might want to try Top/Jungle. Do you like being an assassin and murdering their carry and laughing? Main Mid. Do you like having strategic control over the entire map? Play Jungle/Support. It's honestly just what you have the most fun with, but if you have fun playing anything and everything, do that!

Don't main a role because it's "OP". First of all, no one role is better than another, and you can carry with all the roles in the game (Yes, even Support).

Just have fun!

i enjoy playing riven. but riven no longer fits in the meta. so now im a miserable player trying to figure out why riot enjoys making top lane hybrid tanks only.
