Is a hybrid build viable on Kai'sa? I've been using her and straight AD just doest really do enough. Maybe it's just me. What're your guys opinion on this?

I posted a similar thread right before you did.

Building any AP in her current state is pointless.

The only core build that I've found to be reliable is item 1412 + item 3006 + item 3071 + item 3046 + item 3153

Build order is Start Trackers Knife + Refillable potion Early Game: Red Smite + Boots + Pink Ward, item 3133 when you have the money for it Mid game: item 1412 item 3006 item 3044 item 3144 if you can't buy cleaver outright after phage, as it will give you your Q upgrade sooner. item 3071 item 3046 if you were able to buy your cleaver outright, gives you your Q upgrade and should either give you enough for your E upgrade or put you right below it, which you can get from building item 1043

Last Item Options: item 3035 / item 3036 / item 3033 If they have a ton of armor item 3026 If you haven't died and are worth a decent amount of shutdown gold item 3812 Gives you insane healing and dueling potential, especially when paired with item 3046 item 3022 If you're having trouble with either kiting or being kited item 3085 If you need more AoE damage item 3140 / item 3139 If you are getting Malz/Warwick/Skarner ulted constantly item 3156 If you are getting bursted by AP champs
