Changing The LeaverBuster Rule Request

So we all know that if we constantly leave games we'll get punished for it by being put into lower priority que. But, when we do leave, is it really intentional? Before, my internet was complete shit and I would always try to restart my computer or restart my old modem in order to up my ping in the game. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't, but in the end I still come back trying my best to put effort into the game. And yet I'm punished for that? I know this is a real bitchy thing to complain about but I'm sure this may happen to others as well. It says that we're abandoning our matches or go AFK but usually that's not the case. Instead of only counting the number of times a person actually left and punishing them right then and there, how about just go off of how that persons' team mates report them? then you'd actually know if they left intentionally and then you're actually punishing some idiot who can't even finish a game, win or lose. Plus, the internet and computers/laptops that we play on, are completely out of our control. We don't know if they'll start working up or not. We're only human god damnit lol. There has to be a better way to send out the LeaverBuster punishment. Because all you're doing is punishing those who actually go back to the game and play after being disconnected or trying to fix their internet. It's as if that stupid LeaverBuster rule is saying that "oh, even if you tried to help your teamates and tried helping them win, you still left" You still think that's a negative impact on your teammates if you get disconnected UNINTENTIONALLY and come back to play a game? No. It's not. Hell just now I was stuck on the loading screen just about to play ARAM, and I was stuck for a good 10-20 minutes and I didn't even realize it. So I had to restart my laptop, get back in the game, apologize to my teammates and set myself up. I kid you not, a good minute passes after i'm done with my items and I head out, I get disconnected for being AFK. ... I LITERALLY JUST GOT THERE. Now I have to wait 20 minutes to get into a damn game? FOR 5 GAMES? Get your shit together Riot and change that stupid LeaverBuster rule. It's only fair.

I'd like to know what others think about this as well, so don't be afraid to be honest and comment down below.

I want to keep this post meaningful since this has pissed me off too many times already. If you don't have anything helpful to say then stay out of the discussion

Just an opinion : The time detection need longer gap. Maybe like 10 minutes or so. I'm not sure what is the real problem. But starting from this 5.0 series patches, sometimes many lag spike happened. Ping increase randomly, disconnect instantly, and what not while your browsing ability not reduced or effected at all. And after you get disconnected, trying to log in back is quite a pain. Numerous fail attempts for minutes because of unknown reasons which you can only compare with your own browsing ability. It is a miracle if you can reconnect while still in game without force end LOL client application.

Alright, maybe you know how use tracert command and manage to identify that something in the middle node to LOL server have trouble. ( just use tracert command to somewhere and imagine about long node list and somewhere in the middle got problem ) But that is beyond you, your ISP, or Riot problem. You won't know when the node will recover or previous node can reroute to another node and whatnot. It is simply beyond you, your ISP, or Riot reach.

Yeah, longer gap might ended up being abused by real trollers. A better suggestion : How about giving more minutes gap depend on DC frequency ? So at least you can tell between real AFKer / troll DC and accidental DC.

No suggestion are immune from troll attempt, but at least have mercy on real people who got accidental DC.
