I've been seeing a lot of guides on lolking, and other sites, recommending AS quints. I was just wondering what's the logic behind this? I'm trying it and honestly does feel like it's easier to CS, so far at least. What's going on guys, fill me in please?
Its more money basically 3 AS quints = 14% AS which is basically a dagger. 3 AD Quints is around 7 AD which is barely a long sword. Dagger is worth more than long sword so there you go
It can really help out with ranged characters trying to farm in the top lane, and I use them in the jungle for my auto attack reliant champions to get things rolling a bit sooner. Works great on Aatrox, Shyvana, Nocturne, Volibear, and Skarner along with some AD marks. I also use them for Rammus, even though he's not an AA champion, because it helps his general clear speed pretty well... although I just redid a page to have 22 armor and need to test that out lol.
a combination of as/ad giives more dps than raw ad, especially later on. The faster AS also gives faster animations, which helps alot for Lasthitting and harras
