Gangplank Rework Idea

Gangplank's main problem is that his kit is too binary and offers less chance of outplay for both GP and his opponent. Keeping with his theme of being a Ruthless Pirate captain I thought he ought to literally inspire them and have a much stronger role in team fights. To accomplish this I have tweaked a bunch of his abilities and completely reworked his ult.

**TLDR: **A new kit making Q a skill shot, swapping his passive and E, giving his new E a unique effect and useful ult that takes skill to use correctly but is devastating if done right.

Passive- Raise Morale: For each nearby ally champion nearby (800 range) Gangplank gains 2/4/6/8 attack damage (Levels 1/6/11/16) and 4 movement speed. Nearby allied champions champions gain half of this bonus. The radius of this ability is shown to all nearby allied champions and all enemy champions who have sight of Gangplank.

Q- Parley: Gangplank shoots a bullet in a line dealing 20/40/60/80/100 (+80% Total AD) and slowing the first target hit by 15/20/25/30/35%(2 seconds long). Champions hit are marked for the next 5 seconds causing his next auto attack to deal an additional 10/20/30/40/50 (+80% Total AD) damage and have the slow refreshed. Killing a unit with this grants bonus gold (4-8) and returns half the mana cost. Range increased to 900 units. Mana cost, cooldown and on hit triggering remain the same.

W- Remove Scurvy: Gangplank eats citrus instantly removing all crowd control effects and recovering 6/6.5/7/7.5/8% of his maximum health. If a crowd control effect is removed then Gangplank is refunded half the mana cost of the ability. (60 cost total, 30 on CC removal) The cooldown on this ability remains the same as live.

E- Slight of Hand: Gangplank's basic attack apply a poison debuff dealing 2/3/4/5/6 (+0.03% Total AD) magic damage each second and stacking up to 4 times. If an enemy champion is at 4 stacks GP can activate his E to slight his opponent causing 10% of his opponent's max hp (Physical damage) and debuff them. This debuff reduces the enemy champion's damage by 10% and reduces their vision to 600 unit radius around their champion for the next 3 seconds. (15 second cooldown)

Ultimate (R) Cannon Barrage: Gangplank calls upon his ship to fire 4 cannon balls in a line (Vector skill shot like Rumble ult). Upon impact the cannonballs deal 40/60/80 (+20% Total AD) damage to enemies hit and form impassable terrain. After 3 seconds (Timer shown above each cannonball) the cannonballs explode dealing 50/100/150 (+20% Total AD) damage to any enemies nearby.

This new kit highlights Gangplank's supportive fighter nature: - He can offer much more to a team even if behind. - His passive and E make him want to stick with his team and peel as opposed to diving. - His W benefits from him building tankier and gives it a way of being more relevant in the late game without being over bearing in lane - Moving his Raise moral to passive makes more sense with his theme and removes the annoying cast time - Moving the poison to E enable the ability to add an active effect to increase its power while removing the perma slow effect. - The active effect on his E can allow him to set up for amazing ganks and being high effect against divers in teamfights. - His Q is less bearing in lane as poke if he doesn't follow up, but more rewarding if he does - His new ult does not have the randomness of his old ult but is harder to use - His new ult is unique as there are small spaces between the cannonballs allowing smaller champions to get in between them

making Q as a skillshot is where you went wrong making whatever a skillshot which wasn't doesn't automatically equal to perfectly balanced and counterplay-wise decision that would not be a gp, who existed for 5 years, for whom gp mains share passionate love no drastic changes are required

also for him to follow up, you force him into tanky build currently gp can be supplank, tankplank, mageplank, glasscannonplank your rework doesn't even have ap ratios

I always figured mageplank was more of a troll build similar to adc ahri or ap pantheon. With this buiild as well he is probably better at support than he is currently with the new passive and similar poke with better all ins.

I will admit the ratios are probably off, I just tweaked what he currently had without going too far as I didn't want the numbers to be broken. If they need to be changed to help him go glass cannon that would be fine.
