Matchmaking needs some work

Recently, in almost every single game when I play mid (main role), enemy team usually has a plat and my team has one two, except the rest of us are all silver/gold. Why would Riot think that having ANY plats in a silver/gold game be fair? Additionally, most games, according to OP.GG, the MMR difference is usually an entire tier. Is the game this dead that the system can't find a player? This often just leads to one team getting demolished, and never any balanced fun games where you have to actually concentrate.

Just posted the same but for low elo. Matching Iron (bottom 3%) vs silver in the same role/lane. Makes no sense. I guess its just not low elo.

Yes the system is set to put you into a game as fast as possible by finding people close to your rank, the pool of people isn’t as big as it use to be...by the way matchmaking is trying to balance games out people are just quitting by the masses. Riot hasn’t been paying attention to their community and the state of gameplay. Proof of that was the abomination of a system (role queue) League of Legends isn’t competitive and skilled based anymore. Filled with shit balancing...shit items...shit reworks (kayle). League of Legends in the state that it is in right now puts the game in jeopardy of dying out. People left the game cause of role queue originally but that just opened the eyes of other underlying problems the games has that riot refuses or thinks that the player base will not notice. You are playing a game that is dying faster than it is being revived.

Don’t Play Normals

Normal and Ranked have two different ELOs.

The plats could possibly only use normals to experiment w/ new builds and champions, messing around w/ friends, or experimenting w/ their playstyle. Any of these factors could cause a significant difference between their ranked MMR and their unranked MMR.

(though all around Riot's matchmaking system seems to have only gotten worse this season)
