Why i cant take aftershock

Hello so every time i take aftershock on nunu . when i entre the game a message apears telling me that "Your aftershock rune has been exchanged to Grasp of the undying" WTF????????????

Because Nunu cannot proc Aftershock (except in the fringe case of activating a blast cone underneath an enemy champion)? He has no hard CC.

his E works with aftershock

it doesn't. His E should never proc it. Slows do not immobilise champions unlike stuns, airbornes and snares/roots.

It does not. Aftershock requires an immobilzing spell like a stun, snare, root, or taunt. A slow is an impaired movement ability, not an immobilizing one. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Aftershock

E can proc aftershock i used to go with aftershock

His E is a slow. Aftershock works with knock ups, stuns, binds, displacement, etc. It does NOT work with slow. You may have been able to take it before but it did NOT do anything for you.

Because even the strongest slow still isn't a hard CC. He would need a root, stun, taunt, charm, fear, displacement, knockup, knockdown, or stasis to trigger it.

That's because Nunu can't use aftershock. He doesn't have any hard CC in order to activate it, so it would be a total waste of a slot. As a result, the game automatically switches it to something that you could get at least a moderate amount of use out of.
