Really ironic how Talon now loses lane to people he used to counter.
Used to counter Kat, but now if he all ins her, she just E, W, Ults ults the moment he blinks onto her.

Not just with Kat, it's the same with Fiddle, Zed, Kassadin, and Annie. Without his silence, he can't stop much of anything. And he was one of the few viable counters to Kat.

Talon was already very 'meh' before silence removal. Now a CRAPPY SHIT 0.25 s slow to replace it is just a massive nerf with NO compensation. In contrast lucian/trist etc. get love taps that actually end up increasing their power half the time.
Riot is clearly hoping to go for a s5 'all ranged' team comps, in fact we pretty much saw a bunch of those at worlds already. Once they figure out a way to allow ranged ADC to outjungle melees their master plan will be complete

Syndra can insta burst ppl, and has a slow aoe and stun aoe that is way better than talon since he had to jump to the target to do it, discuss.
My feeling is that katarina vs talon is a skill matchup. The main advantage talon has is that his burst is a lot quicker than katarina's (I manage to be as quick as 2 seconds to 100 to 0 them.) While katarina has a slower burst (qew combo takes like .5 seconds) so it takes 3 seconds for her to burst you. However the reason this is a skill matchup is because katarina has the opportunity to avoid talons w which is his main source of damage with her e. They both have advantages and disadvantages against each other so this is a skill matchup.
