Losing role due to dodging

It's frustrating having your main role in champ select, then having someone dodge, just to get put in secondary or autofill in the next. Why isn't there a system protecting us when someone dodges? Mid is hard to get when chosen as your main role, so when I lose it because of a dodge, it legit makes me not want to play. Feels like it puts me on tilt every time.
