Buying the right champion

0bsidian··1 votes·591 views

I've been playing league for a while now and I am finding myself being outplayed most of the time. I need better champions and i was wondering whether i should buy a champ even if they are difficult to play and then just practice alot?

I realize that, that could also be the reason. That i just dont have enough practice or experience.

Darius is a bruiser easily kited and no gap closer. most of the top lane meta makes his life hell

Renekton strong lane bully op early game dont scale well and falls off

Tryndamere is just in a bad spot... best thing he can do is get ahead and snowball and split push

champs that can do well from behind and still be effective late game and in team fights would be like

Malphite Maokai due to their kits and scaling with items...

Trundle is good duelist good for sustain and can be an anti tank and a tank for team can go top, jungle and support ( see worlds last night as example)

Swain is good top as a counter pick but takes a while to scale... and is ok mid vs right match up does well vs Fiora Yasuo

ok no problem mate lol as you euros say it... one thing some of the champs i listed have harder kits and play styles... it will take a learning curve

but best of luck

I am South African, the only reason South Africans play on EUW is because it has the closest servers. All my friends play on EUW and even the people with the best internet connection will never have lower than 150ping (I get 240 normally). But thank you for the help I really appreciate it

ouch 240 ping is no joke and that alone can be 75% if the issue ...

i remember when i 1st started league.. i used a wifi hotspot with a 4 g speed and a laptop ... i never had a game under 200 fps for my 1st 300 or so wins... ( so hmm bout 700 games? )

now i have a 100 mbps connection and a top of line gaming pc desktop and have 38-40ms (ping) and 150 fps

it makes a world of difference

i feel for ya

Gnar is a strong pick but if you dont know how to manage his transformations and ult well in team fights you are more of a liability

but i think he is the reason why Jayce got buffed ... let alone for Kennen too

Well if you tell me what you look for in a champion I could help you find one that would fit your playstyle but being outplayed is not a champion thing. You are probably just lacking the practice/knowledge needed to outplay others.

Well I preferably play top or mid and my pool is between Darius, Renekton and Tryndamere for top. And i only really have Veigar and Lux for mid. I find that with my top laning/laners, if i don't get enough kills early or mid game i seem to fall behind.

well right now all the rage top lane is

Jayce which in the right team comp/match up he can mid

Kennen top or mid item 3152 kinda has him broken atm

Rumble is strong top and can kinda jungle and in the right match up can mid

Jayce has gotten my interest but he seems difficult to play

to master yes.. to stand back and poke with E -Q , nope

lol just go into a custom game and practice, do some AI games, then normals and so on

Darius and Tryndamere can pretty much get ahead only by farming, if you don't fall behind you should still be able to be relevant if you farm a lot. Tryndamere is probably the best splitpusher in the game and Darius can be pretty strong in teamfights with the right comp. Renekton is about early game, don't be afraid to go in early with your E in, WQ, E out.

If you like Darius and Renekton, Illaoi and Nasus look a lot like them in playstyle, althought Nasus relys more on farm than the others. Otherwise, They all have amazing damage with few offensive items, can take multiple foes at once, but lack ways of engaging fights and mobility. They are also weak against enemies that kite well.

Lux and Veigar are burst mages, althought Lux has a great artillery potential with her E during sieges. You might like Annie , less complicated, better CC but shorter range. Also Ahri Syndra are very fun to play and can burst down targets but harder to play than the others.

Hope I could help! Feel free to ask anything if you need to.

I was looking at geting either Ahri orSyndra already. Any chance you could help me decide?

Ahri: More mobility, shorter cooldowns

Syndra: More damage, More AOE, more CC
