RIVEN. I think we can all agree she is somewhat an assasin. Why isn't she featured in blood moon mode?!

And if he was a slightly different champion and had a primary role of fighter, he'd probably not be included.

Master Yi's primary role is also slayer, and he was ommitted.

Because his center of gameplay isn't the aspect of "slayers" that assassinate, he is of the subclass that shreds. I don't want to go into Riot's whole new nomenclature that they tried to introduce not too long ago, the fact of the matter is that Riven's gameplay is not intended to be centered around assassination, it is intended to be centered around low cooldown moderately prolonged fights.
