How can Riot save League?

Riot has shown that they can't balance a champ. Its either they take a good champ and make them worse than trash or take a champ that is used very scarcely and make them super broken or just never do anything to the champs people have been complaining about since their release (Tryndamere is the best example). Mainly Riot takes good champs and "balancing them" by making them shit. The best example would be Twitch. Twitch was really good when i started, everyone was playing him and i did get destroyed by him but he was a fun and good champ that took some practice to to well. Then lets good at Twitch currently is the worst adc of them all. I think Smite has an interesting way of balancing that does make the game more fun to play than league. In League, the standard power for champs is set low and any champs that exceed a certain level of power, riot just nerfs them to hell. What Smite does is buff the shit out of the weaker characters, making each character op. Making each character op naturally balances themselves out while keeping the ridiculous nature of the game, keeping it fun to play and want to play more characters instead of fearing of picking the shit champ of league that riot sees as "balanced". This makes each purchase of new characters a fun experience because you want to see the power that they can bring and how they interact with the power of opponents and allies. League makes me fear this interaction because it is usually negative and causes frustration with how under powered most champs are. This rant was long, i know, but this is how i feel Riot can bring up riot from the poor state it is now.

Riot has some really well balanced champs. The reason some don't get balanced correctly is pressure from pros and the community or (my theory) someone on the balance team mains that champ.
