How should we approach the new meta?

Even if we play a game every day, it will still prove near impossible to predict the new meta. Champions are being changed so fast that I can't even begin to imagine what's coming next. For example, riot could release another new champion any day now, and it will take weeks or even months to develop good counter-play and builds. For example, Guinsoo's Rageblade (item 3124) really became either a good item or it was discovered here about a month ago. It started off by only being played on hybrids such as Jax or Udyr and has grown to being played on Junglers, Top-laners and ADC's alike. The newest champion, (AurelionSol) has really become a good champion and has seen a lot of play mid lane. However, it will take a while for any player to get comfortable with this champion. I love Aurelion Sol, and I am excited to see how this champion will evolve. I knew from just the spotlight and watching him being played on the PBE that this was going to be Aurelionteresting champion. Haha! I outsmarted you. Not really, but you get the point. The last thing that I wanted to say is that there is this item called Cull, ok? NO ONE STARTS IT! WHY??? It is such a good item, and I am surprised that no one plays it! No one is playing dark seal either. So, remember that cull is an item, and always play smart.

I believe that Riot is deceptively wise, or at least good planners. ... or maybe relentless tyrants, depending on how you look at it.

I have seen several times where they will make a change and everyone will not understand why they made this change, calling it overpowered or underpowered then cry about it endlessly. Then just about the time that everyone forgets about it they change something completely unrelated, then suddenly, it's balanced again.

As for the illusive 'META', I chalk that all up to two things. People are followers, and people are clingy. Nothing is good unless a 'pro' does it. I completely agree with you about item 3124. I have LOVED Rageblade from the first day I started playing League of Legends and I always tried to find ways to work it into my builds. I saw the other day a YouTuber using Rageblade on Kalista and not a single person blinked about it. A few months ago, if I had even suggested that I would have been laughed at. The other thing is that people have gotten so used to using things like item 1055 and it will take the previously mentioned points for people to finally start using things like Cull. Riot will continue to change things which will make it a strong enough starting item for the Pros to start using it more often than Doran's and then it will become meta.

Hang in there friend. the masses are a slow bunch.
