My thoughts on yasuo's wind wall.

Its not a matter of it being too powerful or only blocking things 1 way. IMO I believe the direction they need to go with Yasuo is to make his wind wall have a slight delay on cast that way the user has to truly predict when the appropriate time to set it up is. Doing this I believe would make it more fair for people who have abilities that have to set up or do even quick little animation E.g Braum ult I don't know the delay on it as I cant seem to read anywhere how long the animation time is but if you have fast enough reaction time and a fast enough fps you can quickly press wind wall key and it will block the ult. Now to me how does that make you a skillful Yasuo that's just you having a great reaction time.

If you make it so the user has to predict the perfect time to set up the wind wall up I don't see any other flaw to the wind wall that IMO should be changed. And am willing to consider that change skillful and fair as I believe it will help eliminate dancing back and fourth between the wall and pretty much being invincible to some ranged champions because your pc is just fast and you can click and press buttons really fast making it easy to snowball. League of legends has High difficulty cap champs and low. Now if Yasuo was considered a easy to play champ like MasterYi then Yasuo wind wall would be fine as is but as I said before I don't think there's enough skill evolved in the mechanics of the ability. This change would give Yasuo difficulty bar that's on his champion page more meaning and truly make him a high difficulty cap champion. How long this delay should be I have no clue but that's what the PBE is for.

One other thing I could think of that you could do to the wind wall is instead of having some people argue it should only block one way the only reason I see people complaining about it blocking both ways is that its not realistic based off of how it looks. You could make it so the ability of an enemy has the potential ricochet back if the ability is shot at the back of the wind wall and if it hits any enemy and does an lesser amount of damage than it's base damage. But if you're trying to be realistic which is the whole point behind my second consideration wouldn't it be more realistic if the ricochet actually acted as an accelerator and speeds up the ability much like Jayce acceleration gate due to the direction the wind is flowing? And that would mean the ability would do more damage than the original base damage if it ricochets back right? So satisfying the complaints of the people who think the wind wall should only block one way would be difficult if their reason for complaining is based off of how the wind wall would look, and how realistic its affect is based off of how it looks ultimately it being unrealistic to satisfy these complaints unless the ricochet is completely random. Furthermore this would truly create spaghetti code and would take much work but hey that's riots job and the job of the PBE. This however I really think would be an unnecessary consideration towards changing Yasuo wind wall and I personally have no problem with it blocking both ways.

A third potential change towards Yasuo wind wall I think would be more realistic based off its look, and make it more skillful but also more to it would be to make it so when you fire an ability at the front of it instead of the ability flying straight up and off the map it rides on the current that seems to be resonating from the wind wall. And then lands into a set area behind the wall or randomly falls into one of multiple quadrants behind the wind wall. The ability will then miss or land on an enemy and then do its described affect. However if were going for realism then once again wouldn't the ability be accelerated if it rode the current making it stronger? And now we run into the problem would it be fair for a Yasuo to possibly unintentionally grief his team? I think this suggestion is also plausible and fair I mean we already see that riot has implemented champions who if they miss use champions it could grief their team E.G Kalista TahmKench. Of course there is still a safe zone directly behind the wall keeping its original purpose. Where to draw the line on the protection zone and how far the ride makes the ability goes I couldn't tell you, and we run into spaghetti code again but hey once again why do we have PBE and Riot?

Although I support the last two ideas I just suggested above I also believe this last suggestion along with my second unnecessary changes I'm just throwing out suggestions. I do firmly believe however that my first suggestion is definetly something Riot should implement. Thanks for taking the time to read my think tank what do you think about these suggestions? or even what are you're suggestions with what should happen in the future to Yasuo wind wall?

I personally like your 1st suggestion the most, adding a cast time to his wind wall would make playing against yasuo a little less frustrating for many champions, and also help separate the good yasuo players from the great yasuo players.
