The new map is not as fun as it looked

Just as the title says, I enter the game, i feel excited for the map, but what happens next made me feel so much anger that i never thought i'd have for league. Being colorblind isn't fun, and when you face a void Illaoi and ALL of her particle effects literally blend in with the map (I can't see where her tentacle hit range is, and how wide is her E snare, and can't see her bloody tentacle when she ults because they have no health bars) you just question why do they do this? Please give us an option to turn it off. any champion with purple-blue-ish particle effects are literally invisible for me, they blend in with the ground WAY too much. PLEASE let me turn the map off, or if there is a way, someone tell me how to.

Some comments I see: "It's too bright." "It gives me a headache." "I can't see it."

Totally valid complaints, guys, don't get me wrong. But it... hurts to read these. When for the longest time people complained and said that Riot doesn't care about its players and they need to make a winter map with snow. And people tried to explain why that might not work, because of certain skins or colorblind people, and they'd just be mercilessly downvoted.

I know it's hopefully not the same people, but it just fills me with salt that Riot can never do anything without a large group of players complaining. Like I said, these are totally VALID complaints. And OP has a point. But just.. why is every thread having to be a complaint. Damned if they do something and damned if they don't.

That is a good point. The thing is Riot may not know about this, we don't know how you see the things.

The good solution to this would be to switch whole game to colorblind mode, not only health bars.

I love the new map skin, but I'm also colorblind and the blue/grey/white(?) background makes it very difficult to see. I was going to start my own thread to get a pulse on whether anyone else was having this issue, but then I found this thread.

The brightness doesn't bother me so much, and I really appreciate the Riot team making an awesome new skin with little quirks and adorable Poros, but it would be really great if there were a way to opt out of using the map for us colorblind folks.

EDIT: In particular, it's the particle effects that are white, blue, and purple (such as Lux's and Nami's) that I'm having the hardest time seeing.

Upvoted, my friend can't even play league right now because of the map mode. Maybe we could send in support tickets for colorblind concerns? The guy struggles with TF's cards too.
