How "Unique" Vel'Koz Has Become.

So I mean, where do I start. I mean straight up, Vel'Koz got nerfed while all the other mages I've seen major or minor have been buffed if not super strong right now. I mean look at this, Vel'Koz's passive, "W", "E" AND "R"yes THE "R" got nerfed. Before I talk about how each one got nerfed, Vel'Koz is unique based upon doing damage with his passive. This makes him the fun magic using AP champion we all know as we strive for triple procs. Passive: Taking away damage from his passive, in my opinion, takes away all the kill potential he possibly has in exchange for "late game" at the point where he can die in one shot. Note that Malzahar, a champion who's not supposedly able to freely ult the ADC can now do so as he got majorly buffed while Vel'Koz is sitting duck with a nerfed passive which his entire game revolves around. Q: His "Q" is fairly the same. Some may call it a buff with the mana refund but his "Q", for the most part, is for poking the enemy not farming whether you are mid or support. W: His main wave clear and damage was nerfed to the ground. This makes his damage that much less from hitting champions or securing farm. E: This was nerfed similarly to his "W" where the damage was nerfed to the ground. Adding up the damage that was taken from his passive, "W", and "E", Vel'Koz's damage is completely gone. Not to mention, the perfectly fine vision you get when the spell pops is gone. R: People may say all the damage is not integrated in the ultimate doing insane damage with ratios of 1 to 1. You can look at this all you want but, as a person with Vel'Koz experience thoroughly, it's nerfed. After playing a game with minimal of minimal damage, I have found that my ult doesn't do anything in team fights. Yes, I can research people and ult them to kill them but I'm vulnerable and useless afterwards. I am left wide open as I ult while Malzahar has a similar situation but now, he has protection but Vel'Koz doesn't. Besides that, I'm only able to kill if I GET the research and only if I do. I mean, Vel'Koz isn't an assassin. He's a mage for pete sakes. I'm not able to dish damage like an Annie can, or a LeBlanc can. Not even close anymore. The biggest reason why the ult has no more damage is because of the Stackbot passive being removed. How can a champion revolving around his passive work when his ultimate doesn't even proc it? Sum it up? Vel'Koz isn't the fun champion everyone knows and loves. He, pointblank, has no damage. I mean why do all the other mages get a buffed allowing them to straight up ult and crowd control the ADC to death with a Mao'Kai+Banshee's Veil shield around them and Vel'Koz gets pinpointed into oblivion? Is this what Riot calls "unique"? None of the skills has changed only their damage. That's not unique to me. All I saw was nerfs on all his abilities with the exception of his "Q" while every other mage seems to be buffed. I mean that's just my opinion though and I'd just thought I would share it.

Have you even played Vel'Koz with the changes? And you are aware that they added an AP ratio to his passive, so it's base damage is less, but building AP will make it stronger
