Thoughts on Ranked Changes

I see many, many people jumping at hating these changes. Like, a lot. Of course, it should be know that there will always be more comments disliking a change than there are liking it simply because of how the human mind works. So, I'd thought I'd mention a few things and voice a few of my opinions along the way.

Different Ranks for Different Roles

I like this as a basis, but agree with a few problems many people have. Here are some pros and cons.

1. That is a lot of placements.
2. What incentive to I have to play if I get auto filled to a role I don't care about? I understand this is noted in the article, but I think people are very concerned about it.
3. I think the concept applies very well to MMR.
4. It does cheapen your rank a little. Having a single end all be all rank feels a lot better to brag about.
5. Riot mentioned this specifically, but champ select role switching is an issue.
6. It will help lessen the amount of people in silver that insist that because they can CS and have a decent KDA they belong in platinum. This is always a plus.

There's a lot of potential here, but many problems to fix. Luckily, you have until November, Rito.

Season Splits and More Rewards

Yes. I completely agree. So many games already have shorter competitive seasons and I understand that climbing in League is more of a time sink, but having rank not reset until the end of the whole season is a great compromise. I do agree with some thoughts on not getting ranked borders from this season. Some changes to those borders may be in order._ (While we're at it, the loading screen hasn't aged well. There were some great mock-up on Reddit a few months back.)_ I don't have any ideas to replace the victorious skins, but I do like more rewards. Some in game things like the clash banner would be cool, too. Maybe an emote. (Also, on the subject of emotes. I miss my Star Guardian mastery.)

More Tiers, Less Divisions

Again, yes. Great idea. There is no downside imho.
