Flex MMR affected by solo/duo MMR?

Long story short. I am a gold player ever since. After a break during S7 and most of S8, i returned to the game in the last months of S8, where i was placed G4 in solo/duo and i tried flex for the 1st time, where i was placed Iron4 (climbed to Iron 2 with a few games).

Season 9 starts, i put my focus in solo/duo, i get placed in Silver4 and i climb to G4 with 120-130 games. In the meantime i just played the flex placements (early in the seaon) and got placed bronze2. Now that i got gold in solo/duo, i decided to go back to flex to see how much i can climb. When i did that i had a win/loss of something like 8/13 (quite bad). BUT i gain 35 lp for wins and lose 6-7 lp from defeats. WIth 5-6 games i have skipped b1 promos (promoted straight to b1) and skipped also silver promos (promoted straight to Silver 4) and i still get 33-35 lp per win.

My solo/duo MMR is OKish (i get 21-23 for wins and lose 15-18).

Does my Flex MMR trying to get me to my solo/duo MMR, cause i do not see another reason why my flex mmr is so bloated

PS: I play Flex solo (no party)

The first games you play in a ranked queue use your Normal MMR as a base to place you but it shouldn't matter after some games. Maybe you have very few flex games in total so your MMR is still affected by the "starting" MMr you had from normals?

I might be talking nonsense though.
