What to rush on champs like irelia and gnar?

Irelia I thought TF was instant every time.. but apperently its shifting.. and gnar i used to build botrk but now everyone goes frozen mallet or black cleaver? thanks..

I just look at LoL Probuilds and try to figure out what items are the most popular.

Normally you want to rush the sheen on Irelia. Yes she gets a power spike again with TF, but it depends on how well you are doing if you finish that first or not. You might want tank first because you lost lane. Or Bork for the combo of sustained dps+snare+sustain.

I rush item 3068 with item 3751 being the first I build out of it on Gnar . I just stand near minions till they are low the last hit with my Q, I normally get 2-3 CS per Q from this method.
