How was I supposed to win my most recent game?

I honestly want to know how I was supposed to win this. My Volibear went 2/11/7 with a stattik shiv as a first buy, my rammus went 0/12/9, my varus was afk, and my 16/4/3 katarina refused to teamfight and just flamed all game and complained about how bad her team was and afked a little bit. What was I supposed to do to win? Can someone please help me? Am I just bad at the game?

You can't win 'em all.

Thats what riot thinks. they think you are bad and deserve to lose that game. same as me I got demoted last night for going 14/3/more than 10 assists as garen top last game. tanked for my team, made good initiations, and lost because they were bickering like children all game rather than focusing on the easy win.

I mean don't get me wrong I have made mistakes, but no one can litterally have perfect 10/10 gameplay. I was agaisnt Azir top, which was a nightmare as I was playing Darius. I still went positive. 9/8/4 with 107 cs agaisnt an Azir isn't that bad, is it? I just want to know what I can do to improve.

I mean, keep practicing always play your best and always try to improve your best. playing good doesnt=wins though. This game is like a slot machine, you push play and you either win or you dont. in a 10 person game you can only do so much as 1/10th of the game to secure a win. Its honestly luck. the slot machine could roll them 5 smurfs and you 4 newbies, or vice versa.

It is a team game. If most of your team was terrible and the last was afk, then your team probably didn't deserve to win that game. Queue up for another and you'll get to the division you belong to eventually.

You can't win all your games, but if you're good enough and not extremely unlucky, you should win a majority of them (enough so you can climb in ranked)
