So,in line with the other thread (not mine) which asked about fervor on tanks,i want to ask about a thing i saw in NA LCS,precisely in this match: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdG4fUrUMHk Both sivir and Jhin start with a long sword+potions. I usually do that on Renekton,so i understand that it gives more damage and helps getting items early,but on ADC it seems too risky to me,they need those defensive stats (lifesteal+health) that doran gives. How do you feel about it?
Some champions are nice to include long sword as your first item. It gives +10 AD so I mean if you have the right runes then your set for a good laning phase.
The lifesteal is pretty tiny. Think of 3% when you have like 70 AD. How much HP are you really getting back, like 2 per hit? Most ADCs these days are taking warlords too so the dorans amount isnt that missed.
Getting the sword sooner gets you building your core items faster. In sivir & jhins case they can go essence reaver and ghostblade. On champs who go BF then runaan they maybe would opt for dorans?
