am i touching a sore subject? like when meddler the gold player who abused janna to get gold linked the profiles of some riot that were low diamond and one of em master? like how you explain the balance team leder ghostcrawler barely plays the game? ricklessbaron who made that master yi changes in the pbe that everyonehated like do you see the correlation of him being unraked never playing master yi and those changes? and now talking about master yi why are you nerfing him cause of the boosting strat but no taric ? with 53% w r who was a problem even before this new thing came out'?????????do you see pro players banning yi? no they ban taric

Criticizing the balance team's decisions is fine, because at least that get towards the issues that you consider in need of fixing. However, shaming anyone based on their rank, including Rioters, does little to help matters, as it mainly just attacks people on their character, and kills productive discussion. Even if the balance team really were all Silver, that would not stop the fact that they are working with data that goes far beyond their personal experience, and are implementing changes based on that, or at least one would hope. If you dislike the Master Yi changes, it might be better to go directly into that topic, as throwing out accusations of poor character is unlikely to really create the most focused or constructive of exchanges.

Ghost is not the balance team leader.

Yiis kit is better in lower elo where he has less to fear about being chain CCed. when ahead he can pub stomp better. Taric is good but as a champion he needs more teamwork, Yii works better around less teamwork. The duo boost strat works cuz of yi and his kit, so the nerfed the part of his kit that enabled it.

Understand regardless of elo that what Riot targets is frequently the issues around outliers. Yi is the outlier for the boosting strat. Like its in the name, its boosting, its not top tier mmr its the strongest its a strat, its not the dominant pro play LCS strat, its being done to boost lower MMR accounts up rapidly. Its an issue in the lower mmrs. That's why yii got targeted not taric.

Also at the end of the day You really should want some silver folks on the balance team, they have first hand knowledge of what the game state is like at that level of skill and that's a positive given how 80% of the player base is at their level. Your able to use their input as the experience a majority of consumers play, You also need the higher level accounts to get input of the folks who truly understand the games balance and mechanics better. Its good to have both. Its not healthy for the game if no consideration to balance and the experience the majority of players deals with is not in the gameplay changes.

Taric isn't problematic with other champs. It's just the cheese strat.

Yi is a problem because of how straight-out stat checky he is. It's outdated, and he needs to be updated. Most other stat check characters have their own built-in counterplay mechanisms, and Yi needs that.
