I have no words for latest Riot's changes and news. It's like a big slap to every non-e-sport player for this game. First you make new mode TFT, saying "hey, we have something totally new if you are bored with typical MOBA game" and then this mode is full of bugs but instead of fixing them you make even more champions and other non-related-to-fixing stuff ignoring the fact how unplayable it is. You actually MADE RANKING GAMES before fixing it! [zombie-brand-facepalm] Are we a joke to you or what? I reported looots of time every bug I saw on TFT and most of them are still not fixed. There is still a big problem with WW thats why I decided to not build him since people are mad all the time when he just sits in the middle, don't move and don't play because you can't kill him - like he doesn't even exist. There is STILL problem with champions that are not attacking even if something is in range! Or they are not moving even if they are able to move to the target.

Seriously how bad is this mode right now? How big this mess is that you just don't care and let players be mad over it until they finally leave this game and find something new? Because I'm in a great need to find a good alternative to LoL right now. I saw enough this year to think that you all in Riot just gave up and have no idea what to do or how to bring the fun back.

If you like Moba genre you shouls try Dota2. It has some learning curve and also some issues but it still less shitty than LoL. Smite is also very good alternative and I think it easier for lol player to get into. There are many good games which will get released this year so you have a plenty options to choose from. Me personally is waiting for CoD MW

They had Little Legends all set up before players got to touch the game mode. That speaks for itself.

Riot doesn't care anymore. It's e-sports and pumping out Ahri skins. It's like they are bitter since getting called out for farting on people and harassing woman and now they just gave up trying.

If you're looking for alternatives, unfortunately, there are only really three: Dota 2, Smite and Heroes of the Storm. If you don't like Dota 2, it's just the other two. Heroes of the Storm has faster games, but Smite is more like League. So....take your pick, because League and Dota have basically made it impossible for new mobas to emerge and do well.

I am so glad I bought a new laptop so I could play my ~~favourite ~~game, oh, nevermind, I am just gonna wait for new Path of Exile expansion/season. Meanwhile, I have some miniatures to paint.

except for pro players (But a lot are also included, yes that includes streamers) most people play mobas as an unintentional outlet for their anger.

Mobas are fun absolutely.....to start. But it doesnt take that long before people are playing the game out of defiance rather than enjoyment.

OP is a fine example of a person who actually doesnt enjoy the game, but actually enjoys the things the game can provide. Outlets. Outlets of control, anger, whatever.

At its core moba games arent ever going to be something joyously fun unless youre actually...well you know, not playing the game. Those fun ass games with your friends where youre doing nothing but going against the grain of what the game wants you to do. Those are great right? Well thats mostly because of your friends.

When all is said and done. Riot is doing the absolute right thing when it comes to the moba side. Why would you ever improve or fix something people inherently don't even like? That's the dumbest thing ever, instead use that as an engine to appease them just enough so that they remain blinded juuuuuuuuuust so they can't see the game they're "Trying to enjoy" was never really enjoyable for them after the first month or so. Then profit. Its genius really because its so simple.

When it comes to TFT its essentially the same concept. Only now the game itself satisfies a gambling urge. Hitting that 3 star unit or 6 noble comp or whatever really gives you the orgasms you desperately crave and then you just fall into the game and forgive it while complaining about it simultaneously.

TLDR: Duh. The games suck at their core. But they lure you into making your own fun. Once you realize that you'll hate the game less and like it less too.
