when i play illaoi against morde its just a lost in top lane cuz you cant use your only dmg against him cuz when i start a fight and ulted him he just take me to his death realm and all my tentecals are gone

Hardly = almost not. Example: I can hardly drive = I suck at driving. I'm hardly working = I'm probably getting fired soon. Morde hardly counters Illaoi = Morde only very little counters Illaoi.

it's rare that a hard counter pops up in lol i haven't seen a hard counter in this game since blitzcrank/udyr and old galio

no i mean a champion that completely invalidates another champions ability without any real thought process behind it

old galio ult made you attack him during it and damage taken during the ult would amp his ult damage udyr E and blitzcranks e would instantly interrupt his ult and thus making it do like 1/3rd damage

just like morde hard counters illaoi because of the transfer of her tentacles gp for instance completely invalidates mordes R

so it's give and take

??? She can legit stun one of his 3 Qs, trade into him for 2 seconds, and get out with no chance of the Aatrox trading back.

im talking out of experience from before he got reworked his current version seems fragile to fiora due to the lack of revive 1v1 but it's due to his revive being cut 1v1 not her parry

BTW if you as illaoi build a item 3137 or item 3140 you can insta remove Morde's ulti (not so sure as to why it does that though)...

Yes the item essentially hard counters morde by giving mag resist and an ult counter.

It'll also probably make your Illaoi life against him much easier too.

EDIT: forgot GP's w just nulls it too (possible new main?)...

Yeah I have noticed that, I don't think it is that bad though, personally, I have found laning against him pretty easy since he is that close range champion Illaoi wants to fight, and his E is really easy to dodge.
