Key fragment drop rate

I think that the key fragment drop rate needs to be increased. I'm not saying make it so after every game, one drops. But If all 5 people on a team get an S rank and no one gets a key fragment or a chest, that is kinda dumb...

I agree. I have heard that there is a frag limit as well that makes it so if you don't get all 4 keys in one month you can't unlock every chest. This just feels dumb as a lot of people don't have enough time to get 4 keys a month. Since hextech release I have gotten 5 shards total. The solo queue drop rate is way to low to be fair. I play pretty frequently as well and have 3 chests that I can't open yet. Boxes just feel meaningless at this point because if I have a key I am going to have a box

The back lash concerning Key Fragment drop rates needs to grow large enough Riot cannot ignore it. Hold your RP purchases until they change the stance. It's insulting for Riot to release free content, but then gate the content behind items that must be purchased with RP. Yay Hextech chests, free loot. Nice. Then we get sucker punched with the drop rate and conveniently placed Chest and Key RP bundles. It's offensive and digusting and reminds me of snake oil sellers.

I dont buy RP anymore, and I had spent over three hundred my first year. After being insulted and disrespected in a game by a Riot Employee , then subsequently insulted in private emails over Riot support staff, I stopped supporting Riot. I've gotten two of my other friends to stop spending money, one of which has spent eight hundred dollars and would have kept buying RP, but they no longer support Riot either. The other friend was a smurfer, and would make a new account and use RP to rune himself up He doesn't do that anymore. So me and 2 people are punching net annually over 5 years about a rough two thousand five hundred hole in Riot's pocket.

That's chump change, but that's money in our pockets, and not Riots. We still play the game, and the game is still here. If ENOUGH people stopped buying RP, and got ENOUGH of their friends to stop, each individual collective opinion would become stronger. Or, just keep buying Teemo hats, Vi t shirts, and Braum figurines. Because you're a teenager. Hit lvl30 in real life then see how willing you are to spent rent and grocery money on toys. Medical bills, car repairs, things the house needs. RP is not one of the things my life needs.

Another trash thing is not getting chests from S (only every 1week) I played first and second time Thresh and got S- and S. Yet I don't get anything . . ANYTHING, not even key frags? At least give me 1 frag for a S . .

LegendarySheep12, you do know that you can only get one chest per champion per season? Once you get a chest on a champion (by getting an S- or better, or in a premade with someone who got an S- or better), you can't get a chest with that champion until next season. Basically, to maximize the free loot potential, you'll need to play 4 different champs a month to get all 4 chests each month.
