He's actually doing his job as an anti-carry now, and people aren't used to that. They're used to snowballing so far ahead that only a 1v4 could possibly bring them down. Now Garen has a niche as the one champion doesn't give a damn how fed you are.
But I have 10 kills! I should roll over you like a truck over a fly!
Allow me to count the number of f___s I give about all your kills.

Play any ranged top vs garen... he is still weak vs the same people he was pre-patch (as well as darius beating him like a redheaded stepchild)
Fiora is a lot bigger of a problem toplane atm than garen (though he has a lower skill floor so he is more prevalent in low elo where most people play)
If anything, the new Garen is weaker to ranged champions during early game. The only "compensation" to this weakness is his increased auto-attack range. What's odd is people haven't "caught" on yet.
Garen is still one of the most easiest champions to counter, especially in lane. He just spins more often and has an Ultimate that "truly" hits harder.

Garen's a Super Saiyan obviously; defeat him in lane and he'll just come back stronger.
I mean, how else could he do one-handed push ups for hours?..He's not that lonely.

Sometimes garens are knuckleheads. It is a teamgame after all so even if u have a garen he might be a coward and never engage

Had a Garen support yesterday. He chased down villains that were at half health and killed them.
I known in aram I think, I would perfer vs frizz. I think over all he is good, just his spin is too good. Between the silance and black cleaver he doesn't even need to ult. Over all if a stun or knock up could stop his spin I would call him balanced.
