Lets get this discussion started. TROLLS and LP losses. Are they fair?

Hello Fellow summoners, (and hopefully riot employees)

I have never worked for a gaming company in my life. In fact I havn't worked much outside starbucks. But there HAS to be something RIOT can do about Trolls or just AFK people in general in Ranked gameplay. I don't know how others feel but here's a scenario.

You get into a ranked game, after a long day of work, or school or whatever, looking to win some LP and climb that oh dreaded Ladder. You finally get into champ select and right as your about to enter the rift someone says "**** Gtg" But doesn't dodge. Knowing whats gonna happen your team is just trying to last till 20 minutes so they can surrender with dignity.

Would this not irritate you. Now this happens somewhat often for me as I am low bronze. Which is another topic I think would be good to get on. But, not my point.

Point is. Please at least enlist a program where when the game notices an AFK on your team if you lose, lose a considerable amount less LP then normal.

I just played a game and lost 21 LP because of this same scenario.

I am just looking to see if I am the only one to feel this way.

I think they entertained this once, then someone brought up that it would give reason a people to be toxic to a point where they got someone to leave.

I see your point. But wouldn't you think that People have the common decency to not do that.

Like all I am is trying to put a point out their. How many people hate losing that much LP just because of an A**whole leaving the game. Trying to be funny or to irritate people. I think the community would benefit by having that in place because once that happens the game just isn't fun anymore. For anyone.

I have been on both sides of this argument and even when it benefits me, its less fun.

Now I am not saying my idea is the #1 way to go. Just I am asking Riot to come up with something to compensate the players that have to put up with this. Tis all.
