I know Riot never gives back LP, but what about this situation? (Riot respond? <3)

But what if there was a bug that lost a game. (This didn't happen to me just hypothetically thinking)

What if I was in a ranked game, and the game was like 50 minutes long. One teamfight was needed that would win the game for either team. The fight breaks out and Malphite/Sona land insanely good ults on the enemy team. Then, Miss Fortune presses her ult... but, it doesn't work. (Like that LCS game one time). The replay clearly shows she was not CC'd, and it went on cooldown, and she went into the ulting position, but no bullets flew out. Would Riot give back the LP that the team lost, or would it stick?
