Just a passing thought

Hey Summoners,

This is nothing super profound, but something that's crystallized in my mind over time as an interesting bundle of thoughts. Does anyone actually want the game to reach a state of balance to the point where new champs and items are no longer needed?

I mean there are a lot of arguments that call for the delay of new champions/items for the reworks of old ones. Say that did happen and eventually all the older champions/items caught up. Would the community then be satisfied? Or does innovation still have its place and we should simply expect these balance debates to continue for the duration of the game's existence? I don't mind them, as it were, just a thought

I don't want everything to be balanced perfectly to be honest. The meta changing is what keeps this game interesting (besides being one of the greatest games ever created).

TBH if they continue doing what they have always been doing witch is releasing new champs and balancing them the meta will keep change keeping this game fresh and will be around for a while.

Is it kinda irritating when one of my mains gets nerfed to hell? Yeah, but it forces me to switch it up and find new champions to play. I used to play Nocturne nonstop and loved it. That was back when I first started playing like a little over half a year ago, and I'd only even tried playing like 4 other champs after that, but then Nocturne got nerfed and I had to start finding new champs to play

I started playing Graves a lot, and he was a lot of fun. Pretty much played him as much as I played Noc, so that was cool. Then he got nerfed and I had to move on, etc.

Now I consistently play a variety of champs (Zed ,Yasuo ,DrMundo ,Katarina ,LeeSin ,Zac , etc.) and now I've got a wider concept of playing

Will I be pretty upset when they nerf all of my mains? Most likely, yes. And I'm hoping Riot doesn't nerf them all at once, because that'd give me a much smaller choice of who to play. But I do like that they switch the gameplay up and it's kinda like a challenge. You have to actually keep learning about each champion you play and play against, you have to figure out new builds for champions after they buff/debuff and add/remove items

Riot does things like that on purpose btw, to keep the gameplay constantly changing and so that it isn't boring as hell. Because let's face it, if every champion was perfectly balanced, never changed, and same with the items, that'd be stupid. You'd know what was gonna happen each and every game, you'd know exactly how to play against your opponent, etc. It wouldn't be enough of a challenge
