You guys complain about every meta,

Assassin Meta Tank meta

Why can't we just play the damn game instead of whining, moaning and groaning about every single thing Riot does?

Build a damn Last Whisper and get over it.

Riot doesnt create a meta, players do.

how so? riot nerfs and buffs items, champs, the jg, to suit where it wants to put players... is this not controlling the meta to some degree.... if riot were to place 2 dragons, one where baron is and the current dragon, and move baron to mid.... would the meta not change in reaction to riots changes

It's different people who speak up for every new meta.

Those who oppose the tank meta will complain about anything that's not squishy appearing in a lane. Cho'Gath is played now, despite mages and assassins still being prevalent and more played than him? Tank meta. Riven not the go-to top laner anymore because teamfights are a bit stronger lately? Tank meta. Shaco is hard? Tank meta. Graves is seeing play? Tank meta.

I don't see how two tanks and two carries being optimal is a tank meta.

Meanwhile us immobile mage mains get shit on regardless of meta for the past 3-4 metas, barring too-strong picks like ori or syndra in their prime as examples, and that wasn't because immobile mages weren't being shat on they were just OP.

Original tank meta we could blow our entire kit and not even half health them, and couldn't get past them to hit their team unless they or their team were retarded.

Then we had the ganking junglers, who would instagib you with double buff at level 3 while you were level 2.

Then we got assassin meta for a looooong time and you couldn't even pick an immobile mage if they didn't counter everything (so basically just malz and maybe annie) or you actually got to pick second and it counters whatever you're against.

And now we have tank meta, this tank meta is actually alright because the game isn't nearly as MR heavy as it used to be (which isn't necessarily a good thing but at least we can do something about the tanks this time around) except assassins are still stronger in mid-lane than immobile mages in all but the most coordinated play so we STILL get shat on.

Oh and as soon as any immobile mage even dares to poke its head out they get completely gutted in response - see: Veigar. And no the Q change wasn't a buff, it was a nerf, every person I know who used to main Veigar used Q to poke the enemy down to setup kill combos and only Q farmed when he had a free minute, because if you just farmed you got pushed out of lane and if you did both you ran oom too quickly. He now has 0 lane presence pre-6 and arguable lane presence post-6, since now his laning phase consists of 3 unreliable and easily avoided spells and 1 long cooldown ultimate which won't do nearly enough damage to make up for being able to land nothing else ever without the enemy going full retard.

The only people I hear complainig about the meta are the people complain about the imaginary people conplaining about the meta.

lots of people play this game, get 10 people in a room ask them what the weather was like today and get multiple responses..... different opinions by different people
