So, my brother saved IP to buy Gengar literally slaved away for him, But his games with him are based on luck. One day he'll win one the next he crashes and burns. His jungle item is a Rangers : Warrior then he goes for damage. Ghostblade, Ravenous Hydra, Infinity Edge, Mobi boots, and Last Whisper. I main supp so there's only so much I know. Does anyone have any opinions on Rengar's build or where he should start?
if this is solo queue go glass cannon and snowball, get those double kills in the botlane and set yourself up for success. if you're relatively even go for a mixed build, like warrior's, boots, youmuu or hydra, randuins, banshees, filler item
I heard that he's best built tank when played in the jungle, but best built offensively when played toplane.
Jungle Rengar is pretty garbage this season. The clears are bad and it's difficult to get the income for that build without a lot of successful ganks (you have to get kills from them, assists don't help enough). For me, I figure in an average game I need to have tiamat, ghostblade, last whisper, and mobility boots by 27 minutes, otherwise I'm behind for mid game. In the jungle it's hard to hit that time window without snowballing, which won't happen every game. I also recommend skipping warrior most games and just keeping the upgrading smite and going straight for tiamat.
Don't play tankgar anywhere, you're better off playing a different champion if your team needs a tank.
