Grounding mechanic on singed’s glue

A lot of champions have been getting the grounded mechanic on some of their abilities.(the one where you can't use any movement abilities while affected by it) To me it would make a lot of sense for this mechanic to be applied to singed's glue. Thematically it makes a lot of sense and it would let him catch up to slippery targets a lot easier, and it does not necessarily break the game. I'm not saying that singed is unbalanced or anything but why should tristana be able to jump 10 feet in the air when her feet are glued to the floor.

Cass is the only champion with the grounded mechanic in her kit. Poppy interrupts movement, but does not prevent you from casting it, like cass does.

Logic is not a game element unless used for clarity, if Singed needed the buff sure they'd do it but otherwise glue impairing movement is relatively simple and intuitive. I mean why does a snake lady make two different poisons? Why is friendly fire not possible with skill shots? Things can be logical but no one is playing a game to enjoy how similar it is to real life. I hope at least.
