Flaw with Spectate Mode?

So I just discovered this when watching my friends play. I noticed this when enemy team got dragon and that there was a 3 minute delay for the spectate mode. Then I thought to myself, isn't that a disadvantage because then I would be able to tell my friends when dragon would be up even though they don't have a dragon timer? Same goes for baron. Discuss?

If you are keen, you can just keep a tab on the dragon count in game stats to get dragon's timer anyway. Knowing dragon's spawn time and being able to contest it are still two different things. I don't think it's that game-breaking.

Baron is even easier since its buff has a timer. Just click on the enemy champ when you see their baron buff and you can calculate baron's death time.

The entire point of there being a delay in the spectator mode is so that you CANT tell when the timers are up.

its like this. say a friend is spectating your game.

He says to you in private /r chat "the enemy team is taking baron their all low" because he is spectating live. you then rush over to baron and score a pentakill and a baron smite steal.

There is a delay so your friends can't spectate and tell you whats happening (or so you can't have a computer next to you spectating your own game and knowing what the enemy is doing all the time)
