Down with Overpriced Runes!

Ohh runes... Some of them cost more than some champions! I've been playing for a while and still I don't have any decent rune pages. If riot halved the cost of them, it would be loads better, even though you maybe only get 150 IP on a very good game. If your games last 25 minutes apiece, and you play nonstop, it would take you over 10 games to get a decent level 3 quintessence. 250 minutes of gameplay for one quint which might make a very small difference. Not wurf. Rito plz...

It costs about 17k IP for two full rune pages (AD and AP) to roughly cover every champion in the game. While that won't cover them perfectly, it's good enough until you buy more specific pages.

I was able to save up enough IP from level 15 to 20 to fill those two pages. It's really not that hard.

Obviously, more specific runes (i.e. Lifesteal, Health Regen, CDR, Spellvamp, Hybrid Pen) could stand seeing a price reduction, but they aren't necessities. A couple simple pages will easily hold you until you can afford proper runes.

It's easier if you don't waste your IP on inefficient runes like MR Seals, scaling AD marks, mana marks, or crit chance quints.

i have all the tier 3 runes. I bought A LOT during a rune sale they had but once you buy all the tier 3 and own all champs you just end up hoarding IP.
