Teemo yet again.. another nerf

So.. yet again another teemo nerf. Why.. just why would they nerf teemos mushroom duration. By a whopping 50% is just unbelievable. I do not even see a reason why it had to be reduced. These new "changes" are just absurd. Like even with 40% cdr the mushrooms are almost non existent now. They provide literally no vision and get popped by trinkets like nothing. Being a teemo main and all.. I get a lot of crap for just locking teemo in ranked. Now it is nothing but "he got nerfed" as if it wasnt bad enough that he got crap 80% of the time in champ select. Anyone who disagrees with this post well.. I cant even say anything back so I suggest you just try teemo for yourself. #bringbackoldteemo

I thought the exact same thing when I gone through the changes.

Some of these changes are real cool, and I want them, but they do not compensate for the slashed power from half duration shrooms...

Now I thought maybe new AP items just might benefit Teemo enough. But Teemo is still Teemo, and Rumble is still Rumble ect. I don't think AP item changes "save" Teemo with simultaneous nerfs to his shrooms. AP changes applies to too many other champions that can nuke Teemo.

I thought maybe a slight improvement to the recharge rate of shrooms at rank 2 and 3 ulties would be nice to compensate reduced duration. But you know what would be very cool? Instead of just a passive regen buff what if there was a mechanic to increase shroom recharge rate? What if the Teemo player could actually forage the jungle? Something similar to bard chimes, but not somethings he's necessarily forced to do.

Maybe multiplying shroom duration by 0.5 was just plain harsh. Maybe the shroom duration should match the dragon respawn timer at least- 6 minutes.

Sadly after i played one game with his rework i kind of have to agree Sure i can throw shrooms now but then what?

If i throw it at enemies its not like it explodes straight away so they hardly get hit on the other hand placing them around the map just doesn't feel like it does much anymore. i do miss the ol teemo a bit.

10 min on an easy to counter ULT skill that does low damage almost no visual range now, is not an instant ult but a plan ult.... thats about a good timer. at 5 min you cant really use it for ... umm.... anything really, add in the time it takes to arm so it cant be used in fights.

still not fixed, as trying to hit a player is a massive pita and the damage for it is way to low, if you gave him his season I think 2 or 3 ult power back then i could agree with you. As is he just needs a bunch of reverts and he would be a good champ again..... sadly to many people die to him because they cant actually THINK of how to counter him easily.

His shrooms are easy enough to get rid of with sweepers. You can't put enough down now to impact a game at all.

Teemo can't be viable because of how toxic his kit is. For a fact Riot wants to rework him, but because of how large his fan base is, they couldn't be allowed to rework him without half of the community flipping out on them. I believe they've tried reworking extremely popular champions in the past but stopped or got a lot of hate for it (Garen right now) because of how large their fan base was and how much they loved the champion.

Teemo's kit however is just too toxic for him to actually ever be viable. They can't buff him because while they want him to be somewhat playable, they never want him to actually be a popular pick in Ranked. By all means he can be fun, but right now his kit doesn't do much aside from annoying the enemy you're against. If you're an AD champion or a champion that's main damage comes from auto attacks, you basically won't do much in lane against Teemo due to his blind and poison, you either hug turret or get poked down to death. If you're an AP champion then Teemo won't be that effective since his blind is useless against you and his damage is mediocre.

They clearly nerfed Teemo, but added some interesting features on top of it. By all means Teemo needs a rework because of how toxic and outdated his kit is, but if he was reworked the community would just go insane over it.

Still trying to figure out why he was considered toxic he had a soft CC that only stops AA,a crappy movement speed and a meh on hit... his shrooms USED to be good when they did some damage and gave vision. now they ... umm they suck. if you cant be bothered to ward properly and your team cant sweep the jungle then you deserve to lose... its like building no MR vs a full AP team. Personally id rather be vs teemo than some of the other champs as he is easily countered (riven, leblanc, zed). sadly lol is going more for twitch gameplay and less thinking/ planning involved. The features they added are ... meh at best but there is truly no way to look at this other than a flat out nerf and the funny thing is it is in the same sentence that they said he is weak.... thats like saying ok we know veig is weak right now, so we are gonna help him by changing his stun to a slow and making it a 4 second cast time but we are giving it 50 more range... great buff right? Its like saying we know vayne is to strong atm so we are making her passive hit on every attack and tripling the damage, but we are taking 2 movement speed away from her..... great line of thinking huh?

yet you cant give a justifiable answer to it besides your either a bad player or you jumped on the bandwagon. Do you also whine when somone plays a support top and repeatedly owns you? How about when you are vs a full AD team and buy absolutely no armor do you whine that they do to much damage?

He has been a niche.... underwhelming pick for a few seasons.... now he is complete garbage. There is no redeeming quality he has after his nerfs. He brings nothing to the team, traded his map control for a crappy gimick bounce. He is basically now a complete troll pick
