Voice chat and League

As we all know, dynamic groups (being able to queue up with any number of teammates) are being added to ranked, but because of that, the issue of communication arises - the group of 2/3/4 people will most likely be using a voice chat program of some sort, and in order to achieve efficient teamwork, the non-grouped members of the team would have to join as well, or rely just on pings/chat.

In competitive League (LCS and the like), the pro teams all have voice communication, as it is vital to their teamwork and success.

Since the addition of dynamic groups is meant to push ranked play towards the direction of competitive play, with a focus on teamwork, wouldn't adding an in-client voice chat option (at least in ranked), so that we didn't have to install 3rd party programs to play the game the way its intended to be played be a good idea?

I can see the obvious benefits of implementing voice chat in League, even though players are free to use voice chat applications while playing League already. It would potentially encourage communication with randomly matched teammates. That's never a bad thing. What about the players that you matched up with that didn't have mics or prefer communicate verbally during the course of a game?

I guess you could say that League of Legends players are....dedicated when it comes to their game. They often tend to hold on to certain things like it's a religious tradition (i.e. the META, pick order, leashing, etc.). My concern with implementing voice chat in League is that using voice chat would become the norm and be adopted as a "religious tradition" on here. Then people without mics would start being falsely reported for not following "the norm."

Occurrences that are eerily similar have happened here before.

(We made a thread at the time regarding the same issue, so here's my copy pasta)
